ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Orangeburg County School District announced that schools will be closed on Friday due to conditions around the county. Currently the county has over 130 road closures after flooding hit the area on Thursday, Nov.7. District officials say schools will continue to be closed on Friday, Nov. 8. Also, the district says after careful consideration, they feel no school on Friday is necessary as many roads have not been assessed for safe travel as of yet.
