Idaho voters made their voices heard on election day with over 900,000 votes cast. CBS2 reports Republicans Russ Fulcher and Mike Simpson will serve another term in Congress. Sheriff Matt Clifford received more than 75% of the vote for Ada County Sheriff. Almost 70% of voters said no to Proposition 1, which would have brought ranked-choice voting to Idaho. More than 60% voted in favor of ballot measure HJR 5 – which requires citizenship to vote in the general election. The Canyon County Ambulance District Levy is failing with more than 54% voting no. Nearly 55% of voters voted in favor of the Caldwell School District Levy while 59% voted for the Kuna School District Levy. The Middleton Rural Fire District Levy and Star Fire Protection Levy are both failing. The Nampa Auditorium District is passing with nearly 61% voting yes.
