BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — A 23-year-old man was arrested after being accused of having child pornography. According to Attorney General Liz Murrill, on Wednesday, Michael L. Strahan, of Independence, was arrested on 20 counts of pornography involving juveniles under the age of 17. Agents with Murrill's Cyber Crime Unit received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). The Fugitive Apprehension Unit, Louisiana State Police Fugitive Task Force and the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office assisted with the arrest. Strahan was booked into the Livingston Parish Detention Center. No bond amount has been set, according to jail records. This is an ongoing investigation.
