Local College Notebook: Kyle Allen, Nick Yurcho named AllNJAC in men’s soccer

Kyle Allen and Nick Yurcho were named to the New Jersey Athletic Conference All-Conference team in men’s soccer.
Ramapo’s Allen, who played at Allentown High, was named to the second team for his first All-Conference honor of his career.
He tallied nine goals with four assists for 22 points. Allen also recorded four game-winning goals this season while starting 12 of Ramapo’s 17 games due to a season-ending injury.
Yurcho, who played at Florence High, was the anchor of the Rutgers-Camden defense in his two seasons at Camden, earning him second team honors.
During his first season with the Scarlet Raptors in 2023, he earned NJAC First Team honors and added recognition on the United Soccer Coaches All-Region IV Second Team.
Burke Earns Commonwealth Honor
Charlotte Burke (Northern Burlington) was named the MAC Commonwealth Conference Offensive Player of the Week after she tallied her first collegiate goal in Widener’s 2-0 win over Alvernia.
Burke would take three shots in her time on the field with two being on goal. Her goal came in the 72nd minute of the game.
The former Greyhound standout has three assists on the season and Burke has five points in the last six games.
Boberg For the Defense
Georgia Boberg (Bordentown) was named the NJAC’s Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week after she anchored the Kean defense that allowed only six shots on goal across two conference games.
The junior played all 90 minutes in a 2-0 victory over Rutgers-Newark, and 45 minutes in a 0-0 draw against William Paterson helping secure a shutout for her team in both matches.
Casimir Earns NJAC and D3Football Honors
Greg Casimir (Steinert) was named the NJAC Special Teams Player of the Week after he was a perfect 4-for-4 in field goals in Montclair State’s win over William Paterson.
He converted a career-long 52 yard field that tied the programs longest, and his efforts earned him a spot on the D3football.com Team of the Week.
Casimir is one of only six players in Division III to connect on four or more field goals in a game.
Beck Earns Freedom Honor
Julie Beck (VJM/Langhorne) was named the MAC Freedom Conference Offensive Player of the Week after scoring two goals and an assist in a 2-0 week for Misericordia.
The junior scored in the 90th minute to salvage a 1-1 tie at York, and she assisted on the game-winner and scored the second goal in a 6-0 win over Kings.
Weiss NJAC Diver of the Week
Ethan Weiss (Northern Burlington) earned the New Jersey Athletic Conference Diver of the Week honors after competing at Seton Hall, placing fourth in both the 1-meter (273.60) and 3-meter (217.58) 6-dive competitions.
His consistent performances against Division I competition continue to anchor TCNJ’s diving squad.
Weiss was the NJAC Diver of the Year in 2022 and 2023.
Field Hockey: Caroline Haggerty (Princeton Day) will be in the lineup for top-seeded Middlebury in the NWSCAC playoffs. Grace Rebak (Princeton) will be in the lineup for No. 2 Williams, and Leah Rose Seiden (Princeton) will be in Hamilton’s lineup. …Lily Harlan (Stuart) is in the No. 4 Boston University lineup in the Patriot League playoffs against No. 1 American.
Football: Mekhi Gibson (Ewing), Drew Hensor (Pennsbury), Kyle Stokes (Ewing) and Sincere Thomas (Truman) are all making an impact for No. 4 Kutztown.
Men’s Soccer: Gibson Campbell (Hun) will be with top-seeded Tufts in the NESCAC playoffs. Aidan Keith (Pennington) will be in the Connecticut College lineup on the NESCAC playoffs. …Aiden Hoenisch (Notre Dame), Chris Krall (Florence), Rory Grace (WW-P South) and Saad Williams (Pennsbury) will be with Stockton and Ari Barreto (Hightstown) will be with Rowan in the NJAC championship game. …Bora Tucker (Robbinsville) will be in the lineup for Lehigh in a Patriot League playoff game with Colgate.
Women’s Cross Country: Nicole Hanson (Allentown) and Mia Vaughn (Hopewell Valley) were a part of Rowan’s conference championship team.
Women’s Soccer: Kelly Beal (Princeton Day) will be in the Williams lineup in the NESCAC Playoffs. Ella Davidyock (Pennington) will be in the Connecticut College lineup in the NESCAC.
