Cooler temperatures today in comparison to yesterday’s record-breaking 77°,
old record was 75° set in 2022. Mild air will continue in the region with
temperatures in the low-70s, normal is 56°. Temperatures will continue
to drop during the next few days, tomorrow still above normal and below
normal by Saturday, low-50s. Breezy conditions will also prevail with dry
weather into the weekend, keeping the fire weather threat elevated.
The much-needed rain won’t arrive until Sunday night. The amount of
precipitation in the forecast won’t be enough to eliminate the drought concern,
but we’ll take any amount.
