OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — We have all had those moments when our favorite song comes on the radio, we turn it up and sing along.
However, doing just that nearly cost a man and his niece their lives.
Oklahoma City police say a man and his niece were jamming out at a stoplight when another man pulled up right beside them.
Moments later, both were staring down the barrel of the other driver's shotgun.

"Caller ID indicated that they were sitting stationary in a vehicle when an unknown person in a separate vehicle pulled up next to the victim," said Oklahoma City Police Sergeant, Dillon Quirk.
Halloween night took a scary turn for two people near Southwest 44th St. and Penn. Ave.
According to the affidavit, Brandon O'Malley and his niece were listening to music while stopped at a red light, when another driver pulled up next to them.
"There were some words exchanged," Quirk said.
Apparently, a screaming match broke out over O'Malley listening to his music too loud.
Moments later, police say the argument took a violent turn.
"The suspect then pointed a firearm at the victim before driving away," Quirk said.
The suspect who was identified as Joshua Knudson, told O'Malley, "scared of this now," before driving away.
Knudson was arrested just down the street from where the initial encounter happened.
"They were able to find that vehicle in the area of Southwest 44th and Western," Quirk said. "A traffic stop was then initiated on that vehicle. Police were able to call out that driver and ultimately take him into custody."
Police say when they arrested Knudson, they learned something else about him and his past.
"That person was a felon, so he's not supposed to have a firearm," Quirk said.
OKCPD is reminding everyone, even if you don't fire your gun, that pointing it at someone is still a crime.
"Any time you point a firearm in a threatening manner, you can be arrested for that," Quirk said.
Knudson was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on multiple charges including pointing a firearm and a felon in possession of a firearm.
