(WGHP) — They're beautiful shades of yellow, orange and red. Leaves are lovely to look at this time of year, but they're not so lovely when they fall and cover your yard. Every autumn, homeowners spend hours raking and blowing leaves to the curb, but you don't have to do that. Horticulture Agent Taylor Jones explains why it's best to Leave the Leaves where they fall in Grow Like A Pro. If you want to become an Extension Master Gardener Volunteer, applications are due by tomorrow (Nov. 8). You'll get to help teach other people about plants and gardening. There is a $120 application fee. You'll find the application on the Guilford County Cooperative Extension's website.
