(COLORADO SPRINGS) — On Thursday, Nov. 7 a Fountain Fire Department (FFD) ambulance was involved in a crash in the area of I-25 and Garden of the Gods Road. FFD said the crash resulted in only minor injuries and no life-threatening injuries were reported. The ambulance was transporting a patient to the hospital when the crash happened. “While incidents like these are rare, the safety of our personnel and the community we serve is our top priority,” said Devin Graham, Fire Chief of the Fountain Fire Department. “We are thankful that everyone is safe and receiving appropriate care.” FFD is working with law enforcement as they investigate the circumstances of the crash.
