MINOT, ND (KXNET) — A vehicle caught fire Wednesday night in the parking lot of the Minot Super 8 Hotel. According to the Minot Fire Department, crews responded to the west side of the building around 6:55 p.m. and found a vehicle fully engulfed in flames. The quick response of the crews helped contain the damage to only the exterior of the building. Purple Heart, Quilt of Valor presented to a North Dakota family The first crew to arrive took care of extinguishing the fire while additional crews evacuated the hotel. Super 8's fire alarm system was working and helped crews with the evacuation, making sure everyone inside was alerted. No one was injured during the fire or evacuation.
