(BRPROUD) — A dessert shop with sweet treats is opening in Baton Rouge. Sucré is opening its sixth location in Louisiana and first in Baton Rouge. Their newest place is at 5720 Corporate Blvd., Suite D, next to Mansurs on the Boulevard, according to CEO and co-owner James Vitrano. They hope to open the patisserie on Nov. 18. This will be the seventh location, including one in Georgia. "We will open two more in the Atlanta market in the next few months and one in Houston by January 2025," he said. He said the menu in Baton Rouge will be similar to what you can find at the other Sucré stores in Louisiana. "Our macarons, gelato, sorbet, cupcakes, cookies, brownies and entremets are handmade at our specialty kitchen in New Orleans by our pastry chefs and culinary teams. Most take multiple days and multiple steps to finish," Vitrano said. The menu also includes milkshakes and a variety of other pastries. "We are focused on true customer service and elegant ambiance for our guests within our sweet boutique," Vitrano said. He said the Baton Rouge location will most likely be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and then 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
