FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Now that the presidential race has been called, many are wondering what to do with their political signage; Caglia Environmental says they will recycle them for free.
“Thousands of political campaign signs are displayed throughout Fresno communities each election. Unfortunately, many of them end up in the landfill," said Richard Caglia, owner and president of Caglia Environmental. "By giving people a safe and convenient way to dispose of the signs, we’re helping Fresno minimize unsightly litter and unnecessary waste.”
Campaign signs, along with metal and wooden stakes, can be disposed of at Caglia's Cedar Avenue Recycling and Transfer Station on 3457 S. Cedar Ave. any weekday from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Political materials must separated from other trash in order to avoid fees.
