WEATHER ALERT: An elevated fire risk continues for today. The dry conditions continue. Please, no outdoor burning, as any fires could spread quickly. Please be careful when discarding smoking materials, too. Good morning! It's going to be pretty warm again today....making this the third straight day of 70° temperatures. I guess we could call that a November heat wave. 🙂 Cooler temperatures are ahead, and so is some rain. We are still very dry, and any brush fires that do develop could spread very quickly due to gusty winds today. Please, no outdoor burning. TOMORROW It won't be as warm on Friday, but afternoon temps will still be well-above average for this time of year. Highs from Providence to New Bedford will be in the low to mid 60s.
