High of 78 and 20% rain chance on Thursday in the Triad
Nov 07, 2024
PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — We're starting with cloudy skies, but conditions are going to improve nicely once later today. Enjoy partly cloudy skies this afternoon with highs in the upper-70s!
A cold front will slip through North Carolina tonight but little, if any, rain is expected. With that, partly cloudy skies will stay put and lows will be in the lower-60s.
Friday is looking great for outdoor activities as temperatures remain in the upper-70s with partly cloudy skies. By Saturday, the cool air behind the front finally arrives and highs are going to be much cooler, in the mid-60s. We will still have partly cloudy skies to enjoy Saturday, but cloudy, cool, and wet conditions are on the way for Sunday. Highs will only make it to 60° and there is a 60% chance of showers.
Rain is expected to continue into Monday morning, then we'll clear our skies and have one more day in the mid-70s. Though we are expecting dry weather on Tuesday and Wednesday, highs will start to return to a more normal range, in the mid-to-upper-60s.
