FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A Fresno man was sentenced on Wednesday for receipt of visual depictions of minors being sexually abused, the Department of Justice said.
According to court documents, 35-year-old Louie Santiago Seja Jr. used a cellphone to receive more than 600 images of children being sexually abused in February and March 2019. Attorneys say some of the images depicted violence and prepubescent minors.
The DOJ says Seja will be required to register as a sex offender and serve 14 years and one month in prison followed by 10 years of supervised release during which time his access to minors, computers and the internet will be restricted.
