(MANITOU SPRINGS, Colo.) — Many businesses in Manitou Springs decorated their store windows during October for the 2024 Skeleton Craze, and now, Visit Manitou Springs has announced the winners. Participating businesses decorated their windows with spooky skeleton scenes in a yearly competition ahead of Halloween. Some alluded to pop culture or movies while others put their own spin on it. A panel of three judges skilled in all things macabre voted on participating businesses and picked this year's winners. The top three places went to: First place: Flowers...and the Moon Second place: Mountain High Gallery & Gifts and Mountain West (TIE) Third place: Southwest Silver People's Choice Winner: Flowers...and the Moon with 223 votes. First, second, and third place will receive Ace Hardware gift cards. Tie for second place and the People's Choice winner will receive Manitou Money.
