BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community's help in searching for a missing at-risk 16 year old girl who was last seen in northeast Bakersfield. Alyssa Marie Garcia is considered at risk due to no prior reported history of running away, according to police. She was last seen in the 3600 block of Purdue Drive on Sunday around 3 p.m. Police describe Garcia as 5 feet, 1 inch tall and weighing 145 pounds with brown and red hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black sweater and unknown colored shorts. Anyone with information regarding Garcia's whereabouts is asked to contact the Bakersfield Police Department at 661-327-7111.
