Trey Fix-Wolansky gave the Monsters a 1-0 lead with a power-play goal with 1:12 remaining in the first period. He has four goals this season. The Monsters did not score again until Denton Mateychuk found the back of the net with seven seconds remaining in the game. It was his second goal of the season. Rochester outshot the Monsters, 48-24. Monsters goalie Jet Greaves made 44 saves. Cleveland is off Nov. 7 before beginning a three-game swing through New York state on Nov. 8 at Utica.
