CLOVIS, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - The first Vallarta in Clovis will have a grand opening ceremony on its opening day, company officials announced Tuesday. According to company officials, the community's grand opening ceremony will be on Nov. 20 at 8 a.m. Company officials say there will also be a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9 a.m. Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony, there will be samples of Vallarta favorites given out in-store. In support of their commitment to the community and appreciation for the residents, company officials say Vallarta Supermarkets will also donate $7,500 to locate charities and schools in the Clovis area. The event will feature a DJ, Folklorico, and Mariachi. According to Vallarta officials, they will be giving away reusable grocery bags filled with groceries to the first 300 customers. The Chief Operating Officer of Vallarta Supermarkets, David Hinojosa will be giving a speech at the event.
