Holiday Market coming soon to downtown Topeka

TOPEKA (KSNT) - A local event space is looking to hold its first holiday market this year in downtown Topeka.
The Beacon announced in a press release on Nov. 6 that it will be hosting a Holiday Market for two days, featuring more than 50 local vendors, craft workshops, mini photo sessions, drinks and family-friendly activities. People can visit the Holiday Market on Nov. 9 and 10.
Saturday, Nov. 9
10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Workshop - door swag workshop by The Hive at 11 a.m. Pre-registration required at $35 a person.
Sunday, Nov. 10
10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Kids' activities such as holiday cookie decorating, scavenger hunt and story time.
Workshop - kids stamped tote workshop at 11 a.m.
Mini photo session - held by Shelby Irick Photography at $65 for a 15-minute photo session. People will get 10 edited photos with delivery in two weeks.
Story time - "How to Catch a Turkey" and "The Night Before Christmas" at 12:30 p.m.
Road work on Topeka Boulevard to start on Wednesday
People can visit the market to find gifts for the holidays and stock up on other treats to help get in the mood for the season. Adults can expect to enjoy alcoholic beverages while at The Beacon.
