NM National Guard inducts three into Hall of Honor

SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – The New Mexico National Guard is honored to announce the inductees for their 2024 Hall of Honor. Three honorees have been inducted.
Maj. Gen. Charles Sage, former New Mexico National Guard Adjutant General and 2-200th Coast Artillery "battling Bastards" Commander in the Philippines; Brig. Gen. James "Schultz" Womack, former New Mexico Air National Guard Chief of Staff and highly decorated combat pilot in the Vietnam War with the 188th Fighter Squadron; and Brig. Gen.Alex Garcia, former New Mexico National Guard Assistant Adjutant General and pioneer in developing Army and Air joint capabilities as well as integrating the Drug Demand Reduction Program into New Mexico schools were all inducted.
