One person killed in crash in northeast Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque police responded to reports of a crash shortly after 6:00 a.m. Wednesday morning in the area of Candelaria Road and San Mateo Boulevard.

Police say an Infiniti Q60 was driving northbound of San Mateo when a Vespa Primavera turned out of a parking lot into the road. The Infiniti crashed into the rear of the Vespa. The driver of the Vespa was pronounced dead on scene by medical personnel. APD says investigation into the crash is ongoing.
