American flag apparel, sparkly hats, “I Voted” stickers — all staples found at various election night watch parties across Orange County. Democrats and Republicans gathered at respective events on Tuesday, Nov. 5, not only to keep eyes glued to televisions to find out the results of the presidential race but also to cheer on local candidates — and even take a selfie or two with them.
