FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — The Fall River Fire Department said that students had to be evacuated from Spencer Borden Elementary School after a fire alarm activation. Firefighters arrived at the school around 2:30 p.m. to find smoke coming from the building’s boiler room. The building also had heavy smoke conditions after the fire was extinguished.
