Trump rally in Warwick after Trump reelected as president

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — Trump supporters were out in full force with a rally along Post Road outside of the New England for Trump store Wednesday.
“I think the people have spoken, we’ve had enough,” Pawtucket resident Louis DeMarco said.
President-elect Donald Trump will retake the oval office after weeping important swing states like North Carolina, Georgia, and Pennsylvania in the early hours of Wednesday.
“People kind of expected it,” Brown University student Nathan Smith said.
Those who voted for Vice President Harris said they’re worried for the future of the country.
“I was up until a little after 2 a.m., I was sick to my stomach knowing that he was winning all of the electoral votes,” Georgia resident Ramon Colon said. “I feel like that our country is going to be in trouble that Trump is our president.”
Other Harris voters said they think now is the time to get involved and educate voters for future elections.
“It’s kind of a motive to get out there and be politically active,” Smith added.
Another voter said they were surprised by the lack of female support for Harris.
“Considering this looming women’s health vote issue surrounding abortion and Roe v. Wade, I was expecting more women to come out and vote Democratically in order to show how important this is to us as a country,” Brown University student Feyza Achilova said.
The mood was much more upbeat at the Trump store in Warwick.
“I voted my values and I am glad the victory is for Donald Trump,” Providence resident Luis Guzman said. “I grew up Democrat but I am a Trump supporter now.”
