JOHNSTON, R.I. (WPRI) — A Johnston man won the $315,606 Wild Money jackpot in Monday night's drawing. Juan Ampie of Providence won $30,000. (Courtesy: Rhode Island Lottery) The Rhode Island Lottery said the winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased at the Speedway on Plainfield Pike in Johnston. The lucky winner claimed his prize. He said he plans to deposit the money directly into his savings. Juan Ampie of Providence also got lucky, winning $30,000 playing the "Strike it Rich" instant game.
