All 247 Vermont municipalities have reported their results, and the 2024 election is over. But what about your town? Or the next one over? Find out how each town in Vermont voted in those races with our interactive maps below.Shortly after the polls closed, media outlets began calling Vice President Kamala Harris’ unsurprising win in Vermont, where she beat former President Donald Trump 63% to 32%, according to unofficial results from the Vermont Secretary of State’s Office. A majority of voters chose Harris in 188 towns and cities, while 59 went toward Trump. By Wednesday morning, it was clear that Trump had won the presidency.Notably, Trump performed better in Vermont this year than in his previous two races. He picked up more than 95,000 votes in 2016, 113,000 in 2020 and 119,000 this time around. He also captured a greater percentage of the vote — 32% this year, compared to 30% in 2016 and 31% in 2020.With just shy of 72% of the vote, Republican Gov. Phil Scott easily defeated Democratic challenger Esther Charlestin to snag a fifth term. All Vermont municipalities directed at least a plurality of votes to the incumbent governor.In the lieutenant governor’s race, Republican John Rodgers successfully unseated incumbent Progressive/Democratic Lt. Gov. David Zuckerman, with just over 46% of the vote.
