KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A 41-year-old Leavenworth, Kansas man has been sentenced following a shooting incident outside a bar earlier this year. Cortney L. Roberson was sentenced to two years and one month in prison Wednesday after he was found guilty in August of two counts of aggravated assault, two counts of criminal threat and one count each of criminal discharge of a firearm and criminal damage to property. Donald Trump has sweeping plans: What he’s proposed Court documents said the victims of the shooting were leaving a downtown Leavenworth bar on March 8 when Roberson approached the front of their vehicle with a handgun. The victim quickly drove away when a gunshot was heard. Shortly after the incident, Roberson made a threatening call to the victim, court documents said. As the victims left the area, they called 911 and drove to the Leavenworth Criminal Justice Center for help. As the victims were being interviewed by police, Roberson sent threatening texts to one of the other victims.
