Greater Green Bay Chamber hosts career exploration event for 3,400+ students

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – The Greater Green Bay Chamber welcomed over 3,400 eighth graders from 11 schools to the Resch Center on Wednesday afternoon for the annual "Find Your Inspiration" event, aimed at sparking interest in different career paths.
The day-long event featured 32 local businesses, giving students hands-on exposure to the workforce and allowing them to connect with potential mentors, explore their passions, and consider future career options.
Appleton event empowers high school girls to pursue STEAM careers
Matt Rentmeester, Vice President of Talent and Education for the Greater Green Bay Chamber, highlighted the importance of early career exploration, saying, “Developing all of the minds to think about some of these careers…helps formulate that. Whether you need a certain path for math, or sciences…you can aspire to that as you get older."
Designed to assist students in making informed decisions as they plan their high school or college courses, the event supports the Chamber's goal to prepare students for fulfilling careers in the region.
