LINCOLNTON, N.C. – A man was killed Wednesday morning after troopers said he lost control of his vehicle and crashed, causing him to be thrown from the vehicle, according to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
It happened around 11:20 a.m. on Salem Church Road near Salem Avenue in Lincolnton.
Troopers said the 31-year-old Dominique Morrison was traveling north on Salem Church Road. He lost control of the vehicle before striking a fence and hitting a tree.
