BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- The Kern County Coroner's Office identified two women who were killed in an apparent murder-suicide in southwest Bakersfield on Oct. 27. The women were identified as Liliana Duran and Monique Soila Duran, both 43 and of Bakersfield, according to coroner officials. Mountain Fire explodes to 10,000 acres; countless homes destroyed Coroner officials say both women were found dead on Oct. 27 at their residence in the 7500 block of Lordsburg Avenue, just after 3 a.m. Police told 17 News the women were married and were both found suffering gunshot wounds. An autopsy will be conducted to determine their cause and manner of death.
