BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- A preliminary breath test given by a big rig driver from Fresno who was arrested after a deadly crash showed blood-alcohol content readings of 0.11 and 0.13% -- above the legal limit of 0.04% for commercial drivers, according to a warrant. Cesar Luis Lopez Jr., 29, was arrested at the scene of the Nov. 1 crash on Highway 46 east of Kecks Road, according to the warrant authored by California Highway Patrol investigators. Riddhi Patel’s arraignment postponed, she remains on GPS monitoring He's charged with murder, gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and DUI-related charges, and is being held on $1,660,000 bail. He's scheduled for arraignment Nov. 12 in Shafter. Officers say Lopez was driving a big rig on a private dirt road at 11:15 a.m. when he failed to yield to a car as he entered westbound Highway 46. The vehicles collided; the car's driver was declared dead at the scene.
