LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Two people arrested in a drug bust last month in Laurel County are scheduled for a court appearance on Wednesday. According to the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office, 47-year-old Jamie Deaton and 31-year-old Alicia Isom were taken into custody on October 25 after a two-month investigation. During a search of their home on Roy Dugger Road, deputies reportedly discovered a large quantity of fentanyl, methamphetamine, pills, drug paraphernalia, and over $43,000 in cash. Both Deaton and Isom face drug trafficking charges related to the investigation.
