Porterville Police arrest man after illicit images sent to minor

PORTERVILLE, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A Bakersfield man was arrested in his home Monday morning after he was found sending illicit messages to a minor.
According to Porterville Police, 22-year-old Eladio Cordero Lara was arrested for contacting a minor for sexual purposes, sending harmful material to seduce a minor, and possession of child sexual abuse material.
Detectives with Porterville Police and officers with Bakersfield Police Department say they executed a search and arrest warrant at the 22-year-old's home on the 600 Block L Street in Bakersfield on Monday at around 6:45 a.m. after an investigation revealed he was sending illicit messages to a minor.

Lara was taken into custody without incident and booked at the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office South County Detention Facility where he is being held on a $95,000 bail.
