The San Diego Automotive Museum held its “Party in the Park: Supercharged” event recently. It raised more $825,000 to support  the museum’s IGNITE Academy. Reena Horowitz, Jill Berg and Stephanie Brown co-chaired. The evening honored Sharon and Skeets Dunn. Inspired by the sophistication and intrigue of James Bond, attendees enjoyed a three-course dinner by Ron McMillan’s Catering Solutions, signature martinis, a hosted bar and live music by SULLVN. One of the evening’s highlights was a live auction, where guests had the chance to bid on a 007-themed adventure across the United Kingdom, curated by Boutique Travel Advisors. The trip includes visits to famous James Bond filming locations and the Aston Martin Heritage Trust in Oxfordshire. The museum’s IGNITE Academy combines career exploration, independent research and skill-building through project-based hands-on learning to prepare students for internships and other paths toward careers in the automotive industry.
