CHULA VISTA, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) -- A collision between a vehicle and a San Diego Metropolitan Transit System trolley injured 17 people Tuesday in Chula Vista, authorities said. The crash occurred around 4:34 p.m. at Industrial Boulevard and L Street, the Chula Vista Fire Department confirmed to FOX 5/KUSI. Three of the 17 patients suffered major trauma and were taken to a hospital, according to fire officials. It is unknown if the victims were from the vehicle or trolley. MTS announced there is no Blue Line service between the H Street and Palm Avenue stations. "Riders can use Route 932 for service between the impacted stations.
