Elizabeth Kautz won the race for mayor of Burnsville in the Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024, election, with Dan Gustafson and Cara Schulz being re-elected on the city council with 17 out of 17 precincts reporting. Kautz received 61% of the vote while Will Johnson received 38%. In the city council race, Gustafson received 37% of the vote while Schulz received 36% of the vote and Chris John received 26% of the vote. Elizabeth B. Kautz.
