Immigration and the economy were the top issues on Florida voters' minds in the 2024 election

Every voter has a reason for why they picked a candidate to represent their interests — or, perhaps, why they decided not to participate in an election at all. This year the Associated Press VoteCast polled voters on how certain issues affected their ballots: the economy and jobs, health care, immigration, abortion, crime, climate change, foreign policy, gun policy and racism. It is not an exit poll, as it is not based on in-person interviews conducted at polling locations.
