Republican Jonathan Wilk wins State House District 20
Nov 05, 2024
OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — Republican Jonathan Wilk has been elected as the State Representative for House District 20 in the 2024 election.
The District 20 seat was previously held by Representative Sherrie Conley (R), who was first elected in 2018 and chose not to file for reelection in 2024.
Wilk, a former firefighter, won the Republican nomination after a crowded primary race and a slim victory in a runoff against Mike Whaley by a margin of five votes.
Jacob, an Army veteran and current student at the OU College of Law, was the lone candidate for the Democrats and earned the nomination by default.
Wilk will serve as the State Representative for House District 20 for the next two years until 2026.
