FARGO, ND (KXNET) — Gubernatorial candidate Merrill Piepkorn and U.S. Senatorial candidate Katrina Christiansen have been networking with the more than 100 people who came to the Democratic watch party in Fargo. More than 100 people, ranging from those in various candidates' campaigns to the general public, have arrived to watch the elections unfold. Both candidates have been networking with everyone at the watch party while results were coming in from across the state. North Dakota’s lone congressman, Republican Kelly Armstrong, to be state’s next governor Dem-NPL chair Adam Goldwyn thanked the candidates for their work this year, as well as the people who helped them get to where they are. "Our candidates have put their hearts and souls into this campaign," Goldwyn said. "None of them can do it alone." The gubernatorial race has been called with Kelly Armstrong winning the election. Kevin Cramer also won to keep his seat in the U.S. Senate. Close Thanks for signing up! Watch for us in your inbox. Subscribe Now Today's Top Stories SIGN UP NOW
