The Open Primary/Presidential/Congressional Election is Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024. In this election, voters around the country will decide on the next President and Vice President of the United States. They will also decide on a proposed constitutional amendment and representation in the U.S. Congress. In Louisiana, 22 parishes have local races and propositions. Voters in East Baton Rouge will choose who they want to lead the parish as mayor-president. The ballot in Livingston Parish will have three local propositions. The polls close at 8 p.m. on Nov, 5.
