MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- Authorities have arrested a Gaithersburg woman after she allegedly called police on Monday to report that she had killed her mother, according to the Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD). MCPD said that just before 10 a.m., the Emergency Communications Center received a call from 29-year-old Tiffany Zhang, who reported that she had killed her mother, 63-year-old Guichun Hu, the previous day. Zhang told police that Hu's body was outside their home, located in the 19400 block of Olive Tree Way, in a nearby grass field. Officers took Zhang into custody, charging her with first-degree murder.
