(KRON) – The Petaluma Police Department has requested residents to avoid the area of the Petaluma Marina near Lakeville for police activity.  According to a video on X, authorities surrounded a body of water where a person was seen in the water. In the video, police are telling bystanders, “The subject you are watching is armed with a gun.” The officers go on to say, “You are in great danger by being where you are. I recommend evacuating the area right now. You are in crossfire danger…” Assault rifle, various guns found in San Jose traffic stop KRON4 has reached out to the Petaluma Police Department for further details.  This is a developing story.
