The afternoon of Tuesday, Nov. 5, the Petersburg Bureau of Police is in the Blandford area investigating reports of shots fired near Blandford Academy, which is located at 816 E Bank Street. At 3:29 p.m., police advised that officers are searching for an armed suspect. He is described as a Black male wearing a white shirt and dark pants. The type of weapon he has is unknown at this time. Henrico police identify victim in deadly crash involving moped "If anyone in the area observes the suspect, do not approach," police said. "Contact police by calling 911."
