PORTSMOUTH, R.I. (WLNE) — Senate candidate Patricia Morgan alleged voter fraud on social media with a photo of a sample ballot she said was being handed out in Portsmouth.
The Secretary of State’s Office, meanwhile, said the ballots were not official ballots.
Morgan said that the ballots were being handed out by State Rep. Michelle McGaw and that the ballots had “Democrats pre-selected, while Republican candidates’ names are whited out.”

Morgan added she filed an official complaint with the Secretary of State to demand an investigation.
The state Board of Elections said that the ballot is not an official ballot, and therefore “there is no ballot tampering or issue requiring further action” from the board.
ABC 6 News has reached out to Rep. McGaw for a response.
