COVENTRY, R.I. (WPRI) — Police have arrested a Coventry man accused of aggressively confronting voters and election staff at a polling place Tuesday morning. Officers were called to the Maple Root Baptist Church, one of the town's registered polling places, just after 10 a.m. for reports of a man causing disturbance. Police said the man, identified as 33-year-old Timothy Masse, was yelling obscenities and making vulgar remarks toward voters, political supporters and election staff.
