(WGNO) — A man is being sought by the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office in connection with a homicide that occurred in Harvey on Aug. 17. What to expect for Election Day 2024 According to the JPSO, the homicide, which involved a shooting, happened at an apartment complex in the 1000 block of Manhattan Boulevard, and from there, the man, identified as 27-year-old Lavanta Carto, was identified as a suspect.
