Courtesy of AlphaMedia USA Lincoln.LINCOLN–(KFOR Nov. 5)–When you go cast your ballot on Tuesday, make sure you have a valid ID, such as a driver’s license, state ID, military ID card, passport, any local government ID, and college ID. If you don’t have an ID with you. “They’ll still be able to cast a provisional ballot,” Lancaster County Election Commissioner Todd Wiltgen told KFOR News on Tuesday morning. “They’ll be able to come to the Election Office and provide an acceptable photo ID.” That process should be done by Tuesday, Nov. 12 at 4:30pm. Wiltgen is predicting a 70% voter turnout across the county. The first results will be posted, once the polls close at 8pm. “Those results will be the early vote ballots that have been returned through Saturday, November 2,” Wiltgen said. “Any ballots that were returned Monday or today (Tuesday), those early vote ballots won’t be counted until later this week.” Another reminder from Wiltgen is that campaigning within 200 feet of a polling place entrance is prohibited. “That includes wearing T-shirts, hats , buttons or stickers supporting a candidate or an issue on the ballot,” he added.
