INDIANAPOLIS — The Colts have placed their starting center, Ryan Kelly, on injured reserve. Indianapolis announced Kelly's move to the injured reserve Tuesday afternoon. With Kelly out, the Colts claimed safety Darren Hall off waivers from Arizona. Kelly appeared on the Colts' injury report last week with calf and knee injuries. He didn't practice last Wednesday, but was a full participant in practice on Thursday and Friday. Kelly has started seven games for the Colts this season. In the two games he's missed, rookie Tanor Bortolini has started in his place. The injury to Kelly is yet another blow Indy's offensive line has suffered recently. Starting tackle Bernhard Raimann missed the Colts' matchup with Minnesota. Rookie Matt Gonclaves subbed into Raimann's spot against the Vikings. Tackle Braden Smith also appeared on Indy's injury report last week with a knee issue. Kelly has played for the Colts for the last nine seasons, and he's started 121 games on his career. He's made the Pro Bowl four times. Hall, who the Colts claimed after putting Kelly on injured reserve, spent time on Indy's practice squad last season. He's played in 35 games on his career and made 10 starts. Hall was the 108th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. He's racked up 69 tackles on his career. The Colts' week 10 injury report is not yet available, so the Raimann and Smith's statuses for Indy's matchup with Buffalo on Sunday are still unknown.
