(WFRV) - The Oneida County Sheriff's Office announced that a 51-year-old Wisconsin man was arrested for a wide variety of charges after driving over 100 miles per hour while fleeing the scene of an accident. According to the release, officers were advised about a two-vehicle accident on Highway 17 N. The caller reported that the suspect vehicle hit them while attempting to pass in a no-passing zone, and while pulled over, the suspect vehicle hit them again. Police: Wisconsin driver hurt after crashing while going 100+ miles per hour Oneida County Deputies responded and found the suspect vehicle leaving the scene, as they initiated a pursuit. The suspect vehicle, driven by Daniel Thunder of Neopit, reportedly fled at over 100 miles per hour while committing multiple other traffic offenses. Thunder reportedly disobeyed stop signs and other traffic signals while going in the wrong lane and passing on the right. The release added that Thunder turned onto Oneida Street and then Highway 8 W where a Oneida County Deputy performed a pursuit intervention technique. Thunder eventually was taken into custody without incident after other deputies rammed the suspect vehicle.
