Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)–Columbia police say they are responding to the intersection of Millwood Ave. and Fairview Rd. near downtown Columbia. Officials say Millwood is closed to traffic and pedestrians as they respond to what is being described as a “mental health crisis”. As officers remain in the area, Columbia PD says the 1100 block of Fairview Drive is temporarily closed. Police say there is no threat to the public.
